There was no words spoken in that concert, but High Tone has proven to be able to communicate with their audience. The music speak for itself and satisfy the souls that were coming to Ekko tonight. With a mix of punk, techno, reggae, sometimes Asian tones and mostly rock, one can certainly enjoy this French-originated-band on a Thursday night like this, when weekend is almost there and you have already fed up with your work.
I am certainly not the eligible person to review their music, but I could witness their commitment to music, experimenting with sounds and tones, and the melody is quite enjoyable. So I’ll just show you these pictures and I am guessing that they are enough tell the power of their music.

The main challenge of tonight’s shooting was the uneven distributed lighting. But overall, Ekko could be the best lighting I’ve ever encountered. It was quite straightforward and you just have to listen to music to guess when will the next best light hit the stage.
I locked my ISO at 1600 and just played with the manual exposure, sometimes I needed to put 1/40 but there were some moments that I could get it up to 1/125. I didn’t do much for the post processing, except the white balance and contrast.
Ekko is a pretty laid back venue, so I could move freely. I decided to get the landscape shot at the beginning of the concert, when the venue was still half empty. During the concert I just shot around from the front of the stage. Such freedom was due to the access granted by the management of the band, who has been kindly enough to put me on the guest list and photograph the show, so merci beaucoup Vincent!
