When Alela Diane plays her guitar you can hear the dynamic, when she sings you will know that she definately know what she is singing. Alela Diane a singer-songwriter originated from Nevada City, California is not new for the Dutch audience. Fans that came to Tivoli De Helling last night are definately familiar with the CD and loves the music.
Her father who taught her how to play guitar was also there together with another banjo player and Mariee Sioux as her back up singer. For more review on the concert you can check them here.

Compare to the Sioux’s set, the lighting for Diane was more friendly. So it was not so difficult to get smaller aperture and faster speed. Problems occured during the processing, in some shots I notice strong blue reflections and flares which I couldn’t get rid off. I still have a lot to learn.

Concert photography is always one of my favorite hunting ground due to lighting challenges. Nice to find your photo blog here. Best.
Hi Toni, the challenges are what drive me into it. Thanks for your comment, I appreciate it.
