I won’t be the right person to review this concert, because first of all I know the lead singer of the band. So anything I said won’t be that objective. But if you like country music, you might find Furlong, an Utrecht band worth to listen to.

I must say that the lighting for an opening band always not as good as what the venue can potentially offer. In the case of Furlong, Ekko was left with mostly red and orange light. I am happy that I have my 50mm 1.4 with me, but since I was shooting from quite a distance to the stage (given the venue was only half empty), 1.4 aperture delivered unsharp pictures. I could actually set it down to 2.8 or 3.5 but then I was stuck with 1/30 speed.
